Department of Chemistry: |

The department of Chemistry was
established in 1996 with a B.Sc. (General) Degree course. Eventually we began
Chemistry Honours course in 2015. The department is well equipped with
inorganic, organic and physical chemistry laboratories. Research work is
going on in various domains of chemical science such as drug design,
theoretical and computational chemistry, synthetic inorganic and organic
chemistry. The department is trying to foster the spirit of dedicated
teaching-learning process while encouraging the students to pursue their
higher education in chemistry and contribute to the society in large. To
attain this vision the department is dedicated to providing a course of study
for students in the chemical sciences. |

The department regularly organizes
subject oriented seminars, workshops, special lectures, poster competitions
in both offline as well as online mode ·
