Community Services

A college cannot be a mere graduate producing factory. It must convert a student to a 'human resource' by teaching them how they can give back to the society i.e. ways they can make a positive impact on the society. Hence apart from the curriculum, the college stresses on extension services to the society.

Apart from the curriculum, the college stresses on extension services to the society in the following ways:

Organizing of Blood Donation Camps by NSS, Students' Union & Alumni Association.

Generating awareness among locals about Thalassemia and why it is important to test for its presence by organizing free of cost Thalassemia screening camp.

Holding sapling-plantation programmes involving locals.

Generating awareness among students of local schools on environment through Poster making, Exhibitions, Quiz competitions, Debates etc.
