The IQAC is composed of seven teachers,
two administrative staff and two management representatives. It
regularly holds meetings with various stakeholders. In the year 2014-15
IQAC has received Rs 3lakhs as funding from UGC. Significant activities
undertaken by IQAC during 2014-15 are:
Assisting in promotion of 7 teachers under CAS.
Providing active encouragement and guidance to teachers for
submitting proposals to UGC for Minor Research Projects. Five teachers
have already been granted the same.
Facilitating the introduction of PG in Bengali.
Assistance in planning and programming of academic expansion in the new campus at Fatullapur:
i) introduction of 3 and 5 year LLB Degree Course
ii) introduction of B.Voc in Retail Management
iii) introduction of Diploma in Pathology
iv) introduction of Diploma in Physiotherapy
v) introduction of Diploma in Travel and Tourism
vi) introduction of 3 year Degree Course in Travel and Tourism
The IQAC guided the college authority for introduction of these
courses and the college has already sent necessary application and
documents to the UGC and the Higher Education Department, Government of
West Bengal , for necessary approval
Assisting the Academic Sub Committee/ Routine Committee for the
optimal use of available space and proper distribution of time schedule
for optimum use of faculty and available time.
